Health, Well Being and Resiliency - A Brief Guide

Health, Well Being and Resiliency are the buzz words in business today taking over from the term previously used, Stress Management. Whichever name is used, the key point is that those that suffer from stress, or low levels of resiliency, often go unnoticed until it is too late! Sickness, absenteeism or poor performance at work costs business £m per annum. Additionally, proactive interventions have historically only been delivered to those in senior managerial positions as the cost of Stress Management or Health, Well Being and Resilience has been somewhat prohibitive!

And so this is where Performance on Demand fits in; what if you could put in place a Stress Management or Health, Well Being and Resiliency programme for ALL employees that is effective, easy to set up and complete, is ongoing and costs just £1 per person per month! Did we forget self-financing!

At the heart of Performance on Demand’s Resiliency programmes sits the unique and in-house developed Well Being Profiler (WBP); a 58 question online assessment that is taken monthly and that questions users and provides reports across 10 key areas that affect the users Health, Well Being and Resiliency.

After each assessment a Resilience score is recorded, both overall and across these 10 areas;

  • Relaxed
  • Positive engagement
  • Employee engagement
  • Mental clarity & decisiveness
  • Self-management
  • Control
  • Self esteem

An individual Resilience report is immediately made available to users on completion, providing bespoke advice as to how to improve their Resiliency in the two areas in which they have scored least well. Additionally, all data is also uploaded to the online Data Management area and is accessible to authorised administrators. Every individual’s data goes towards providing a range of ‘Corporate’ reports that show not only the Health, Well Being and Resiliency of the ‘group’ but also identifies clearly those individuals that are doing least well and could perhaps do with some additional Stress Management or Well Being and Resilience training.

As a one off, all of the above assessments, reports and data gathering are invaluable for Stress Management purposes however the Performance on Demand Health, Well Being and Resiliency programmes are designed to be ongoing with users receiving monthly invites to recomplete their Well Being Profiler.

On subsequent completions, additional ongoing, comparison and progress over time reports are made available to users via their online portal and by e-mail. This shows individuals how they are progressing overall, and in each of the 10 assessed areas, with further bespoke advice being provided directly to them based on their results. Corporately, the group reports will also now reflect the progress of both the individuals and the group providing invaluable information that allows for the accurate and targeted use of the Stress Management and Health, Well Being and Resiliency budgets.

Performance on Demand further provides a range of additional services including Resiliency Workshops, 1:1 reviews and training and many hardware and software products that enhance the online programmes.

From just £1 per user per month all programmes are free from both upfront and ongoing admin fees and have no minimum contract length, making them perfect for all employees, even those on short term contracts.
